For years, pundits have predicted legal troubles would bring down former President Donald Trump. But so far, their predictions have failed to pan out.
However, “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin believes this time will truly be different for Trump.
During a segment of the show on Monday, she said, “I think he will be imprisoned this time.”
“I’ve been saying it for two years, but I really believe [it]. He’s got four cases in four different jurisdictions,” she added.
Conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin voiced concern about Trump being indicted due to the language he has used.
“We saw it on Jan 6. when he says get out, take your country back, protest, we know what he’s calling for. We don’t need to read between the lines there,” she explained.

Griffin added she is concerned because it appears the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation into Trump is “a strong case,” but it carries the shortest sentence compared to potential charges related to other probes.
However, Hostin argued the New York case is “the easiest to prove.”
Still, Griffin said, “I would feel a lot better if the unprecedented step of a former president being… arraigned, arrested, have his mug shot taken, I want that to be a rock-solid, slam dunk case.”
Hostin responded, “I think the goal is to never have this man be in a position of power again.”
“Not even a crossing guard,” she added.
On Saturday, Trump predicted in a post on Truth Social he would be arrested on Tuesday on charges stemming from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
“PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” he added.
The post came after it was reported law enforcement and security agencies were preparing for an indictment as early as this week.
However, a Trump spokesperson said in a statement there is no evidence Bragg “has decided to take his Witch-Hunt to the next level. President Trump is rightfully highlighting his innocence and the weaponization of our injustice system. He will be in Texas next weekend for a giant rally.”
