Tiffany Trump is pregnant, her father, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, announced at a campaign event in Detroit.
The 30-year-old daughter of the former president and ex-wife Marla Maples is married to Michael Boulos.
The former president announced the news at the Detroit Economic Club Thursday night, per People.
As he was talking at the event, Donald Trump pointed out Tiffany Trump’s father-in-law, Dr. Massad Boulos.
“He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy,” Donald Trump said. “And she’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
The mother-to-be has not talked publicly about the news. However, a spokesperson her confirmed the news to People.
The couple got married in November 2022 in Palm Beach, Florida, at the Trump-owned Mar-a-Lago Club.
The couple started dating in 2018 after meeting in Mykonos, Greece and got engaged in January 2021.
While Donald Trump was in office, Tiffany Trump would go months without seeing or speaking to her father.
“They always had a strained relationship her whole life, and it got exacerbated by the presidency,” a source close told PEOPLE in 2018.
Tiffany Trump grew up in Calabasas, Calif., with her mother.
Maples revealed to People in 2016, “That was my choice, raising her outside of the spotlight.”
