President Donald Trump has not been able to just “Shake it off.”
Shake what off? His dislike for singer Taylor Swift.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” Trump wrote Friday on social media.
There’s been no “Love Story” between the two. During the 2024 presidential election, the singer supported then-Vice President Kamala Harris. She announced her support for Harris to her 280 million followers on Instagram, The Hill reported.
Swift has also been swift to call out Trump in the past.
For instance, in a 2019 interview, she said Trump was “gaslighting the American public.”
“We’re a democracy — at least, we’re supposed to be — where you’re allowed to disagree, dissent, debate. I really think that he thinks this is an autocracy,” Swift said then.
