Former President Donald Trump is slamming Bill Barr for calling the former president’s widespread election fraud claims “bullsh*t” in an upcoming book.
“RINO former Attorney General Bill Barr failed to investigate election fraud, and really let down the American people,” Trump wrote in a statement on Sunday night.
The former president also said, “It’s people in authority like Bill Barr that allow the crazed Radical Left to succeed. He and other RINOs in the Republican Party are being used in order to try to convince people that the election was legitimate when so many incredible facts have now come out to show conclusively that it wasn’t.”
Trump’s remarks came after an excerpt of ABC’s Jon Karl’s book “Betrayal” was published in The Atlantic. Karl writes that Barr told him “he had already concluded that it was highly unlikely that evidence existed that would tip the scales in the election.”
Karl continues, “He had expected Trump to lose and therefore was not surprised by the outcome. He also knew that at some point, Trump was going to confront him about the allegations, and he wanted to be able to say that he had looked into them and that they were unfounded.”
As Karl writes, Barr told him, “My attitude was: It was put-up or shut-up time. If there was evidence of fraud, I had no motive to suppress it. But my suspicion all the way along was that there was nothing there. It was all bullsh*t.”

In December, Barr told The Associated Press (AP) that the U.S. Justice Department found no widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election that could change the results.
Karl also writes in his book that Trump brought up Barr’s interview with AP and asked, “Did you say that?” to which Barr responded, “Yes.”
Trump replied, as Karl writes, “How the f*** could you do this to me? Why did you say it?” Barr responded, “Because it’s true.” The former president then said, “You must hate Trump. You must hate Trump.”
Karl also notes that Barr looked into “allegations that voting machines across the country were rigged to switch Trump votes to Biden vote.” Barr told him, “We realized from the beginning it was just bullsh*t,” adding, “It’s a counting machine, and they save everything that was counted. So you just reconcile the two. There had been no discrepancy reported anywhere, and I’m still not aware of any discrepancy.”
In Trump’s recent statement, he listed examples where he believes there was widespread voter fraud in the election.

The former president also added about the former attorney general, “Bill Barr was a disappointment in every sense of the word. Besides which, Barr, who was Attorney General (lawyer) shouldn’t be speaking about the President.”
Trump added, “Instead of doing his job, he did the opposite and told people within the Justice Department not to investigate the election. Just like he did with the Mueller report and the cover up of Crooked Hillary and RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, they don’t want to investigate the real facts. Bill Barr’s weakness helped facilitate the cover up of the Crime of the Century, the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election!”
