Former President Donald Trump insists Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.)
During an interview with online personality Adin Ross, Trump gave his impression of the progressive firebrand, calling her “fake.”
He went on, “She’s fake. But she knows it, she’s got a thing going. It’s a good thing for her. But there’s a certain something she’s got. She’s got a good spark, it’s pretty amazing, actually.”

Trump went on to claim he warned former Rep. Joe Crowley (D-N.Y.) that Ocasio-Cortez could pose a serious challenge in his 2018 primary.
“I said… [Crowley] better be careful, so I give her credit,” he continued. “She’s got a lot of sizzle.”
