“Sir, we’re just going to have to step outside,” the agent said to Trump, adding, “Step outside.”

Moments later, Trump returned to the podium to continue his press briefing. He addressed what had just transpired, “There was a shooting outside of the White House.”
“There was an actual shooting, and somebody’s been taken to the hospital,” he added.
At the time, Trump was unable to provide too many details about the shooting because he said he did not receive a briefing from the Secret Service.
Trump did say that someone was shot by the Secret Service.
He also said that the Secret Service took him to the Oval Office, not the bunker.
The Secret Service’s Twitter account confirmed that there was an “officer involved shooting.”
The Secret Service can confirm there has been an officer involved shooting at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Ave. Law enforcement officials are on the scene. More information to follow.

When asked if he was “rattled” by the incident, Trump responded, “I don’t know. Do I seem rattled?”
