Former President Donald Trump was succinct in his view on the anti-Israel demonstrations happening on college campuses.
“Stop the protests now!!!” Trump posted in an all-caps post on Truth Social.
Trump, who did not need to be in court Monday for his hush money trial, made his post after about 900 people have been reportedly arrested since police in New York removed an anti-Israel protest encampment at Columbia University earlier this month, per Fox News.
The protests involve the war between Israel and Hamas, which started on Oct. 7, 2023. There have been more than 34,000 deaths, mostly civilian women and children. That number came from the Gaza Ministry of Health and could not be verified.
The protesters want their respective colleges to stop investments in companies that support the Israeli military and what they are doing in Gaza.
About 102 students were arrested at Northeastern University in Boston on Saturday.
Also, more than 100 students and university employees were arrested at Washington University in St. Louis.
