Oh, it’s on now. President Donald J. Trump is not just calling foul — he’s practically calling the game rigged, the refs crooked, and the entire United Nations a corrupt circus that just tipped its hand in broad daylight. And honestly, are we even surprised anymore? Because when it comes to Trump, the rulebook doesn’t apply — and apparently, neither does basic professionalism at what’s supposed to be the globe’s most “neutral” international body.

So here’s what happened, and trust me, this isn’t some tinfoil-hat conspiracy — this is Trump-level theater, mixed with receipts, and served piping hot.

The first incident? An escalator. Yes, an escalator. Sounds innocent enough, right? Until you realize the UN staff joked ahead of time that they’d be cutting off power to elevators and escalators when Trump showed up — you know, because they’re so broke from funding climate change conferences and transgender art festivals in Brussels or whatever. So when Trump and Melania step onto the escalator and it suddenly dies beneath them, it’s not just a mechanical hiccup. It’s a giant “oops, we said the quiet part out loud” moment for UN staffers who were literally laughing about this in The Times of London. Not exactly subtle, guys.

Next? The teleprompter goes dark. For 15 minutes. Let that sink in — 15 full minutes where the leader of the free world is left squinting at a blank screen in front of the most powerful (and let’s be honest, the most hostile) international crowd he’s faced in a while. And yet, he powers through — because unlike the current guy wandering around the Rose Garden talking to ghosts, Trump doesn’t need a teleprompter to string sentences together. Still, the failure wasn’t some quirky tech glitch. It was insult, layered on top of injury, wrapped in a diplomatic slap in the face.

This is insane…

As Trump arrived to the UN, the escalator stopped working the moment he stepped on it.

But wait, it gets better.

As if cutting off the escalator and blanking out the teleprompter weren’t enough, the sound system inside the auditorium mysteriously fails. And not just for a second — for the entire speech. Delegates couldn’t hear him unless they were plugged into translator earpieces. Even Melania, sitting right in front, couldn’t hear her husband deliver one of the most important speeches of his post-presidency career. How do you screw up the sound in a UN auditorium — a place that’s hosted hundreds of world leaders for decades — at the exact moment Trump takes the podium?

You don’t. You plan it. That’s what Trump is saying. And judging by the breadcrumbs — from the snide jokes before his arrival to the triple play of “accidents” — you’d have to be either willfully blind or a New York Times subscriber to think otherwise.

Now Trump’s calling for a full investigation. He wants the tapes. He’s involving the Secret Service. He’s sending an official complaint to António Guterres, because apparently someone in Turtle Bay forgot who they were dealing with. Trump doesn’t just walk away from sabotage — he lights it up.

And here’s the part that really sticks: where’s the outrage? Where are the press conferences? If this had happened to Obama or Biden or literally any world leader left of Karl Marx, CNN would be running a 12-part docuseries and Anderson Cooper would be interviewing the escalator technician’s third cousin. But because it’s Trump? Silence. Crickets. Maybe a snarky op-ed in The Atlantic about how “he probably deserved it.”

🔥 One of the most LEGENDARY lines from President Trump’s speech at the UN

“I ended SEVEN wars … I never even received a phone call from the UN offering to help…”

“These are the two things I got from the United Nations: a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter. Thank you… pic.twitter.com/OWXTObLdDe

— Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) September 23, 2025

But here’s the thing: Trump won’t let this go quietly. He knows the game, and he knows when he’s being set up. More importantly, he knows how to turn a “technical malfunction” into a national headline — and a rallying cry.

Here is his full speech:

This speech was next level. You have to watch this. Trump absolutely sh1t all over The UN/Globalist agenda. Calling out the weaponized mass migration, and the Climate scam. pic.twitter.com/wa7uhogVLR

So now the question is: what happens next? Because if the United Nations thought they could sneak this one past him without consequences, they’re about to find out that the escalator might’ve stopped, but Trump? He’s still moving — full speed, uphill, and with the entire MAGA movement behind him.
