President Donald Trump’s New Year’s resolution is a lofty one.
“Peace. Peace on Earth,” he said Wednesday with first lady Melania Trump at his side at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
The White House’s oficial rapid response account shared a Fox News post on X of the video clip of Trump’s comments, adding, “The President of Peace — and the most stunning First Lady in history.”

Since being back as president, has presided over a multitude of military actions and has worked to advance peace worldwide.
This includes working toward peace between Ukraine and Russia, and between Israel and Hamas.
In the past year, the U.S. military launched numerous strikes, including included those against vessels of alleged “narco-terrorists.”
The U.S. also attacked the Iran in an attempt to derail the country’s nuclear weapons ambitions. The U.S. targeted ISIS in other countries in 2025.
“President Trump has ushered in a new era of peace through strength. Because of his commitment to the cause of peace around the world, America is respected again on the world stage,” the State Department wrote last week on X.
