A scene from a show involving a character claiming he was sexually assaulted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has left Twitter users shocked.
The character made the accusation on the Paramount Plus series “The Good Fight.”
Fox News noted the episode shows the main character Diane Lockhart, portrayed by Christine Baranski, meeting with Felix Staples, in a conference room with other lawyers.
“I offered my political services to Governor DeSantis. He saw me in my bicycle shorts, worn purely for medical reasons. And he invited me onto his staff. Little did I know what he meant by staff,” Staples tells the room.
He continues, “He drugged me and forced me into oral sex.”

One tweet argued, “You are just seeing the result of emboldened content creators who hate this country, especially conservatives. We heard it every week for years. It’s toxic.”
And you wonder why people like @RealDeanCain , @yesnicksearcy and myself had to get out of Hollywood?

DeSantis managed to secure a reelection victory this week.
The governor went on to deliver a passionate speech following the win.
“We have embraced freedom. We have maintained law and order. We have protected the rights of parents. We have respected our taxpayers. And we reject woke ideology,” he said, drawing applause from the audience.
He continued, “We will never, ever surrender to the woke mob.”
Politico noted DeSantis defeated Democrat Charlie Crist by close to a 20 percent margin.
“I wish the best to my fellow Floridians because I love this state, I love her with all my heart,” Crist said.
He added, “You are great, good, decent, kind people, and you deserve nothing better than the very best God has to offer. We have so much to be thankful for … I’m a happy man, and I am at peace.”
