A slew of U.S. embassies abroad have warned foreigners that deportation awaits non-citizens who promote terrorism while in America on visas, the Associated Press reported Monday.

In at least 17 different nations, U.S. embassies have made posts featuring administration officials including President Donald Trump, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio telling visa applicants that any promoting of terrorism, including Hamas, will be met with deportation, per the AP.

“When you apply to enter the United States and you get a visa, you are a guest,” one post said from the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn, Estonia. “Now, if you are in this country to promote Hamas, to promote terrorist organizations, to participate in vandalism, to participate in acts of rebellion and riots on campus, we never would have let you in if we had known that. You lied to us. You’re out.”

The U.S. embassy in Hungary also posted a warning on X from Rubio saying the U.S didn’t “want people in our country that are going to be committing crimes and undermining our national security or the public safety.”

The Trump administration has already deported many individuals suspected of having terrorist sympathies and ties, beginning when federal authorities arrested activist Mahmoud Khalil Mar. 8, alleging that the Columbia University graduate should be deported for engaging in “pro-Hamas activity.”

The U.S. accused Khalil of omitting his involvement with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), an organization which was found to have members who participated in the Oct. 7 attacks in southern Israel.

Rasha Alawieh, a Lebanese national, was also deported Mar. 17 after it was discovered he allegedly attended the funeral of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Federal authorities also arrested Leqaa Kordia Mar. 14, a Palestinian from the West Bank who was previously arrested for her alleged participation in pro-Hamas activity at Columbia.

Israel’s war with Hamas ignited protests across the U.S. in support of the U.S.-designated terrorist organization, with the aforementioned Columbia becoming a hotbed for dissent along with countless other American universities.

The State Department did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
