President Joe Biden brought back his whisper while addressing the US Naval Academy’s Class of 2022.

“By the way, once your commissioned, remember I’m your Commander in Chief,” Biden whispered.

He added, “So don’t ask me too tough a question, OK?”

This is not the first time Biden has whispered while delivering remarks.

As Fox News previously noted, the president did it several times during one question-and-answer session with reporters in June.

During the address Friday, Biden took aim at Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling his actions “a direct assault on the fundamental tenets of rules-based international order. That’s what you’re graduating into.”

Biden argued the world “more than ever requires strong, principled, engaged American leadership. Where America leads not only by the example of its power, but the power of its example.”

He went on to mention Naval Academy graduate former Sen. John McCain.

“Being here I can’t help think of John. And how the Naval Academy meant so much to him. He chose these grounds for his final resting place. John was an American hero who withstood torture, years of being held as a prisoner of war, and when he came home — he wanted to continue to serve,” Biden said.

He continued, “He always lived by a code, the same code that you all have been taught. It’s not just words, it’s real: Duty, honor, loyalty.”

Biden explained he hopes the graduates will “keep the memory of the example of academy graduates like my friend John McCain close in your hearts as you embark on your commissions.”

The president told the graduates the school has “prepared you to face any challenge and overcome any obstacle. You are ready. My wish to you is fair winds and following seas.”

CBS News noted recent presidents have all spoken during the academy’s graduation ceremony.

Former President Donald Trump suggested in 2018 that the United States “has regained the respect that we used to have long ago abroad.”

Former President Barack Obama told the class of 2013 to use their “inner compass.”

The outlet pointed out Biden will deliver the commencement address at the University of Delaware on Saturday morning.

On Sunday, the president will travel to Uvalde, Texas, to meet with the families of the victim of the deadly school shooting that killed 19 children and two adults.
