Just five days after announcing that he tested positive for COVID-19, President Donald Trump has apparently made significant improvements in his condition.
Dr. Sean Conley released a memo on Tuesday afternoon to provide an update on the president’s condition.
It read, “This morning the President’s team of physicians met with him in the Residence. He had a restful first night at home, and today he reports no symptoms.”
“Vital signs and physical exam remain stable, with an ambulatory oxygen saturation level of 95-97%. Overall he continues to do extremely well, I will provide updates as we know more,” it added.

Trump revealed early Friday morning that he and the first lady had tested positive for COVID-19. He was later taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and administered a drug cocktail to combat the virus.
Additionally, he was given dexamethasone, which is a steroid that is usually used to treat patients who are facing a severe case of the virus.
Conley previously confirmed reports that Trump’s oxygen levels had dropped on Friday and Saturday. However, speaking to reporters on Monday, Conley was reluctant to provide more details about the president’s condition as questions swirled about his health.
Specifically, Conley did not reveal if scans revealed any lung damage from the virus or whether there was anything abnormal that showed up in Trump’s bloodwork.
Conley did tell reporters that Trump had “met or exceeded all standard hospital discharge criteria.”
“Though he may not entirely be out of the woods yet, the team and I agree that all our evaluations and most importantly, his clinical status support the president’s safe return home, where he’ll be surrounded by world-class medical care 24/7,” he added.
For his part, Trump said on Monday that he was “feeling really good” and “better than I did 20 years ago.”

“Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs [and] knowledge,” he added.
