Predictably, the media narrative spun into chaos. Monarez ran to the Wall Street Journal with an op-ed claiming Kennedy pressured her to “preapprove” a committee outcome. Kennedy called that out as a lie — and denied even meeting with her privately. But facts don’t tend to matter when you’re poking at the sacred cow of vaccine orthodoxy.
And if you thought this was just about policy disagreements? Not even close.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren nearly swallowed her pearls when Kennedy had the audacity to demand clinical trial data before the government starts recommending COVID booster shots for toddlers again. Oh, and Kennedy’s not finished.
