Albania is a town and municipality in the Colombian department of La Guajira. It is the most recently formed municipality of La Guajira along with the town of Uribia, among others, created on March 19, 2000. Albania neighbours an exclusive enclosed camp site for the Cerrejón coal mine workers and their families, named Mushaisa.
