American Eagle Outfitters received a high-risk rating because it scored poorly across most governance and advocacy categories, including discriminatory philanthropy, employment protection, and politically-driven corporate actions. The company's embrace of identity-based policies and activist-aligned initiatives suggests it prioritizes partisan causes over merit-based business practices and shareholder interests.
