Andrew Murray Burnham es un político británico que ha ejercido como primer ministro del Reino Unido y líder del Partido Laborista desde julio de 2026. Ha sido miembro del Parlamento (MP) por Makerfield en Greater Manchester desde junio de 2026, y fue alcalde de Greater Manchester de 2017 a 2026; antes de eso, fue MP por Leigh de 2001 a 2017 y ocupó varios puestos en el gabinete. Burnham se identifica como socialista y está asociado con la izquierda moderada del Partido Laborista; también es miembro del Partido Cooperativo, que está aliado con el Partido Laborista.
