Anthony Sparrow (1612–1685) foi um sacerdote anglicano inglês. Ele foi Bispo de Norwich e Bispo de Exeter.
Carreira
Nascido em 1612, Sparrow foi educado e tornou-se fellow no Queens' College, Cambridge, e foi ordenado sacerdote em fevereiro de 1635. Ele era adepto do movimento laudiano. Em abril de 1644, sob a purga parlamentarista da universidade, foi expulso por não residência por Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester. Em 1647, foi expulso da reitoria de Hawkedon por usar o Book of Common Prayer, então proibido. Após a Restauração, foi reintegrado em 1660; e ocupou o cargo de Arcediago de Sudbury de então até 1667. Em 1667, tornou-se Bispo de Exeter e em 1676 foi promovido a bispo de Norwich. Morreu em 19 de maio de 1685. Em seu testamento, deixou £100 para a reconstrução da Catedral de São Paulo.
Casamento e descendência
Casou-se e deixou, ao falecer, várias filhas como suas co-herdeiras, uma das quais foi Joan Sparrow (m. 1703), esposa de Edward Drew (m. 1714) de The Grange, Broadhembury, Devon, um Cônego da Catedral de Exeter.
