About Apis
Apis, fue una antigua ciudad portuaria en la costa norte de África, a unos 18 km al oeste de Paraetonium, a veces considerada ubicada dentro de Egipto, y a veces en Marmarica. Scylax la ubica en el límite occidental de Egipto, en la frontera de los Marmaridae. Ptolemy la menciona como en el Libyae Nomos; y también Pliny the Elder, quien la llama nobilis religione Aegypti locus.
