Irish general in French service (1750-1794)
Arthur Dillon was a French Army officer, colonial administrator and politician who served during the American Revolutionary War and the War of the First Coalition. After serving in several political offices during the early years of the French Revolution, he was executed in Paris as a royalist during the Reign of Terror in 1794.
