La astronomía es una ciencia natural que estudia los objetos celestes y los fenómenos que ocurren en el cosmos. Utiliza las matemáticas, la física y la química para explicar su origen y su evolución general. Los objetos de interés incluyen planetas, lunas, estrellas, nebulosas, galaxias, meteoroides, asteroides y cometas.
