Baldwin County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, its population was 43,799. The county seat is Milledgeville, which was developed along the Oconee River. Baldwin County forms the entirity of the Milledgeville micropolitan area, a statistical area (μSA). The μSA also included Hancock County until the 2023 OMB statistical area updates when the county was removed.
