En la jerga LGBTQ, un bear es una persona que se identifica con la subcultura bear. Los bears son típicamente hombres gay o bisexuales con sobrepeso o musculosos de complexión grande y/o vello corporal. La jerga se ve a menudo como el antónimo del término twink, y actúa como un identificador para la comunidad bear.
