About Blackball

La versión de origen inglés del pool de ocho bolas, también conocida como English pool, English eight-ball, blackball o simplemente reds and yellows, es un juego de pool jugado con dieciséis bolas en una mesa de pool pequeña con seis troneras. Se originó en el Reino Unido y se juega en los países de la Commonwealth como Australia, Irlanda y Sudáfrica. En el Reino Unido e Irlanda se suele llamar simplemente "pool", mientras que el término "blackball" es común en otras regiones para distinguirlo del eight-ball de origen estadounidense.
