Borshchiv Raion

Borshchiv Raion was a raion (district) within Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine, in a historical region known as Galicia. The administrative center of the raion was Borshchiv. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Ternopil Oblast to three. The area of Borshchiv Raion was merged into Chortkiv Raion.
