15+Common Sense Media calls it a groundbreaking film about forbidden love with sex and violence; Dove.org does not approve it due to sexual content and profanity; Movie Mom rates it for high school audiences.[1][2][3]
Representation: Though main male characters say they "aren't queer," the movie broke barriers in portraying a love story between two men; Jack demonstrates immense courage by striving to be with the man he loves despite the risks.[1]
