Čakanovce (Hungarian: Ósvacsákány) is a village and municipality in Košice-okolie District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia.

In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1439.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 271 metres (889 ft) and covers an area of 9.61 km2 (3.71 sq mi) (2025).
Population
It has a population of 768 people (31 December 2025).

In year 2021 was 688 people by ethnicity 644 as Slovak, 175 as Romani, 123 as Not found out, 5 as Czech, 3 as Rusyn, 3 as Hungarian and 3 as Other.
