Contest fue un balandro australiano naufragado en 1807. Era un balandro de unas 44 toneladas (bm), construido en Port Jackson, Nueva Gales del Sur, por James Underwood, propiedad de Kable & Co, y registrado el 20 de julio de 1804. El 28 de febrero de 1807 navegaba hacia Newcastle, Nueva Gales del Sur, pero el viento no le permitió llegar al puerto, por lo que continuó hacia el norte. Un poco antes de Port Stephens, Nueva Gales del Sur, una fuerte tormenta empujó a Contest hacia la costa, donde se hizo pedazos. Toda la tripulación se salvó, pero no se pudo rescatar ninguna carga.
