Uma cruz é a decoração localizada no nível mais alto de uma coroa no topo do monde. Seu uso tradicionalmente simbolizava a natureza cristã da monarquia daquele país, embora nem todas as coroas, mesmo em monarquias associadas ao cristianismo, usassem uma cruz como decoração no topo, com algumas coroas francesas usando outros símbolos nacionais.
