Dan Voiculescu is a doctor of economics, university professor, and Romanian politician, former businessman. He is the founding president of the Romanian Humanist Party (PUR), which later became the Conservative Party and has since become the Social-Liberal Humanist Party. Dan Voiculescu was elected senator for Bucharest in three legislatures.
