David Chapman es un actor, presentador, titiritero y artista de voz inglés.
Carrera
Chapman se formó en la London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), de la que se graduó en 1992, y en The Jim Henson Company, en abril de 1994, en Jim Henson’s creature shop, Camden. Su trabajo como titiritero ha aparecido en las películas Muppet Treasure Island, 101 Dalmatians (Walt Disney Company, 1996), My Last Five Girlfriends (Paramount), Ridley Scott's Prometheus (20th Century Fox) y Muppets Most Wanted (Disney, 2014). En televisión, su trabajo como titiritero ha aparecido en Wizards vs. Aliens, Captain Abercromby, Carrie and David's Popshop, Children in Need, Doctor Who, French and Saunders, Heroes of Comedy: Max Miller, The Saturday Show, Shooting Stars, Sport Relief, Time Trumpet, Tiny and Mr. Duk's Huge Show, What's Up Doc?, Nuzzle and Scratch, Xchange, The X Factor y en Pajanimals de Jim Henson Company.
Ha tenido una larga asociación con CBBC, trabajando primero como escritor, titiritero y artista de voz de Otis the Aardvark entre 1994 y 1999. Fue en ese rol donde trabajó por primera vez con los presentadores infantiles Richard McCourt y Dominic Wood ("Dick & Dom"), antes de aparecer en Dick & Dom in da Bungalow, galardonado con los premios BAFTA y RTS. Entre 2002 y 2006, Chapman interpretó numerosos personajes junto a otros habituales de Bungalow como Ian Kirkby, Melvin Odoom y Lee Barnett.
