The Ministry of Defence, anteriormente chamado de Ministry of War e Ministry of National Defence, é o ministério belga responsável pela defesa nacional e pelas forças armadas belgas. O ministry of defence da Bélgica responde ao Minister of Defence. Como resultado dos planos do Verhofstadt I Government para modernizar a administração federal, todos os outros ministérios foram transformados em Federal Public Services (FPS), mas em agosto de 2007 ainda não havia uma Royal Order criando o FPS Defence, embora esse nome já seja usado em sites oficiais. The Ministry of Defence responde ao Minister of Defence. The Chief of Defence (CHOD) é o mais alto funcionário uniformizado no Ministry of Defence.
