El álbum fue grabado y mezclado en Woodshed Studio en el sur de Alemania con el ingeniero Victor "V.Santura" Bullok. El arte fue diseñado por Marko Saarelainen. El álbum representa un segundo lanzamiento de la Pestilence reformada, con dos nuevos miembros: Yuma van Eekelen y Jeroen Paul Thesseling, quien fue miembro de la banda durante la era de Spheres. Técnicamente, el álbum es una experimentación con afinaciones muy bajas, con Mameli y Uterwijk tocando en guitarras de 8 cuerdas con afinación estándar, y Thesseling tocando un bajo sin trastes de 7 cuerdas afinado en F#.
