A Corte Warren presidiu uma grande mudança na jurisprudência constitucional americana, que foi reconhecida por muitos como uma "revolução constitucional" na direção liberal, com Warren escrevendo as opiniões majoritárias em casos marcantes como Brown v. Board of Education (1954), Reynolds v. Sims (1964), Miranda v. Arizona (1966) e Loving v. Virginia (1967).
