Overview

Hotel Riu Plaza España, commonly known by its historic name Edificio España, is a skyscraper and hotel in Madrid, Spain. It stands in Plaza de España, at the western end of Gran Vía. The building opened in 1953 as the Edificio España, a mixed-use complex containing a hotel, offices, apartments and shops.
