Edward Scott

Sir Edward Scott (c 1578 – 1646) foi um político inglês que ocupou uma cadeira na Câmara dos Comuns a partir de 1626. Scott era filho de Sir Thomas Scott of Scots Hall, Kent. Ele se matriculou em Hart Hall, Oxford em 25 de outubro de 1589, aos 11 anos. Em 1625 ele foi Sheriff of Kent. Ele foi nomeado Knight of the Order of the Bath em 1626. Em 1626, ele foi eleito Member of Parliament por Kent. Ele foi eleito MP por Hythe em 1628 e permaneceu até 1629, quando o rei Charles decidiu governar sem o parlamento por onze anos.
