Engineers is a service branch of the Finnish Army. The branch contains the training branches of engineering, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), and CBRNe. Engineering equipment operators are also trained for the branch's needs. Engineers are responsible for aiding the movement of friendly troops and disrupting the enemy's movement, EOD clear explosives in challenging areas, and CBRNe is responsible with dealing against chemical, biological, nuclear and incendiary weapons.
