Episcopal High School is a boarding school in Alexandria, Virginia. Established in 1839 by the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, it was the first high school in Virginia. Originally an all-boys school, Episcopal transitioned to coeducation in 1991. Episcopal is 100-percent boarding and is the only all-boarding school of its caliber located in a major metropolitan area.
