Join the roomEric Demetric Dickerson é um ex-jogador profissional de futebol americano que atuou como running back por 11 temporadas na National Football League (NFL). Ele jogou futebol americano universitário pelos SMU Mustangs, conquistando honras unânimes de All-American em 1982. Dickerson foi selecionado como o segundo overall no draft da NFL de 1983 pelos Los Angeles Rams, e posteriormente jogou pelos Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Raiders e Atlanta Falcons. Durante sua carreira na NFL, ele correu por mais de 13.000 jardas. Ele detém o recorde de jardas corridas em uma única temporada da NFL com 2.105 jardas, estabelecido em 1984. Dickerson foi induzido ao Pro Football Hall of Fame em 1999 e, em 2019, foi nomeado para o NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.
