About Gawain
Gawain, escrito de muitas formas, é um dos Cavaleiros da Távola Redonda no ciclo lendário arturiano. O protótipo de Gawain aparece sob o nome Gwalchmei nas fontes galesas mais antigas. Ele posteriormente apareceu em muitos contos arturianos em galês, latim, francês, inglês, escocês, holandês, alemão, espanhol e italiano, notavelmente como o protagonista do poema em inglês médio Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
