Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is the soundtrack to the 2024 American monster film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire directed and co-written by Adam Wingard. A sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), it is the fifth film in Legendary's Monsterverse franchise, as well as the 38th film in the Godzilla franchise and the 13th film in the King Kong franchise. The film features a musical score written and composed by Tom Holkenborg and Antonio Di Iorio; Holkenborg returns from Godzilla vs. Kong for the film, and Di Lorio serves as the fifth film composer to work on a Monsterverse film following Alexandre Desplat for Godzilla (2014), Henry Jackman for Kong: Skull Island, Bear McCreary for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Holkenberg for Godzilla vs. Kong. Holkenborg was confirmed to return to compose the film's score in August 2022, while in December 2023, Antonio Di Iorio would be announced to be co-composing the score with Holkenborg.
