About Henry Herbert, 10th Earl of Pembroke

Henry Herbert, 10th Earl of Pembroke was a British military officer, politician and courtier who served as Lord of the Bedchamber from 1761 to 1763. He was renowned for his skill in horse training. Captain James Cook's famous ship, HMS Endeavour, was formerly MS Earl of Pembroke, launched in 1765 and named after the 10th Earl.
