Join the roomHillside es un suburbio residencial de la ciudad costera de Southport, Inglaterra. Está rodeado por Birkdale, una antigua ciudad por derecho propio, pero parte de Southport desde la amalgamación en 1912. Toma su nombre de un edificio llamado Hill Side, claramente evidente en mapas antiguos. También existía Hillside Farm, parte del cual todavía sobrevive en Hillside Golf Course. La estación original de Birkdale estaba en Hillside, situada en la actual intersección de Dunkirk Road y Dover Road.
