Hrušovo (Hungarian: Balogrussó) is a village and municipality in the Rimavská Sobota District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia. In the village are preserved typical 19th-century houses. Furthermore, in Hrušovo is foodstuff store, post, public library.

Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 273 metres (896 ft) and covers an area of 15.77 km2 (6.09 sq mi) (2025).
History
In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1297 (1297 Huruswa, 1427 Hrwswa, 1511 Rwsowa). After, it passed to Muráň town. Locals had been engaged in weaving and basketry.
Population
It has a population of 154 people (31 December 2025).
Ethnicity
In year 2021 was 172 people by ethnicity 165 as Slovak, 4 as Hungarian, 2 as Czech and 2 as Not found out.
