Hurricane Marie Cancels Santa Monica Ocean Way Festival
The Ocean Way Festival in Santa Monica was canceled two weeks before its Sept. 26-27 debut due to Hurricane Marie causing significant beach erosion, with refunds being issued and plans announced to return in 2027. The two-day beach festival, organized by Goldenvoice and featuring headliners The Killers, Olivia Dean, and Jack White, is the second major Los Angeles–area beach festival canceled this year as organizers prioritize safety and beach restoration.
