Orioles place Jackson Holliday on injured list for second time this season
Jackson Holliday was placed on the 10-day injured list with left wrist inflammation and will be eligible to return around Sept. 25, forcing Baltimore to lean on Jeremiah Jackson at second base with Jose Barrero being recalled to bolster infield depth. The move comes as the Orioles near the end of the season with upcoming series against the Yankees and Brewers, while Holliday’s absence has already shifted lineup planning and depth options.
