James Browne fue un político irlandés que era el hijo de Hon. Denis Browne, MP por County Mayo en 1801 y hermano de Peter Browne, MP. Sucedió a su padre en el año 1828 y fue elegido en 1818 como Miembro del Parlamento por Mayo, y ocupó el escaño hasta 1831.
