James Gray es un cineasta, productor y guionista estadounidense. Desde su debut como largometraje Little Odessa en 1994, ha realizado otros ocho largometrajes incluyendo We Own the Night (2007), Two Lovers (2008), The Immigrant (2013), The Lost City of Z (2016), Ad Astra (2019), Armageddon Time (2022) y Paper Tiger (2026). Seis de sus películas han competido por la Palma de Oro en el Festival de Cine de Cannes.
