James Parker

James D. Parker (December 3, 1975 – August 19, 2023) was an American track and field athlete who specialized in the hammer throw. He represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics without making the final. He won the silver medal at the 2003 Pan American Games. Life and career James D. Parker was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, on December 3, 1975. He served as first lieutenant with the U.S. Air Force. His personal best in the event was from 2004. Parker died on August 19, 2023, at the age of 47.
