John Foran (born 1955) é um sociólogo americano com interesses de pesquisa em justiça climática global; movimentos sociais radicais, revoluções e mudança social radical; estudos culturais do Terceiro Mundo; e estudos latino-americanos e do Oriente Médio. Ele tem um PhD da University of California, Berkeley e é professor de Sociology na University of California, Santa Barbara.
